Frequently Asked Questions

I have insurance benefits for massage therapy. Do you direct bill?

Yes, we offer direct billing with all major insurance companies. Each policy has it's own requirements so be sure to check with your insurance company about any prerequisites they may have eg. Doctors note, maximum coverage per treatment etc.
What other forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, e-transfers and cash. For credit cards your payment will be manually processed through Square and your credit card will be placed on file for ease of billing in the future. We are unable to accept debit transactions at this time.
How much does a massage cost?

Massages are billed by the treatment time, and we offer a wide variety of times from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Our current price list is available on our booking site when you book and as of May 2026 our prices range between $65-$200 plus GST.

How often should I get a massage?

The short answer is as often as you want.

The more in-depth response would be that each person and each instance is unique, so it is important to discuss your goals with your Massage Therapist so they can develop a treatment plan that works for you.

Generally speaking, though, when treating an acute injury, your Massage Therapist may want to see you a couple of times a week for a few weeks and then reassess your recovery and adjust appointment frequency.

While actively working to resolve a chronic condition, your Massage Therapist may want to see you a few times a month.

We recommend a monthly massage to maintain your wellness when no conditions are currently present and/or being addressed, but there is nothing unusual about coming in more frequently to maintain and uplift your quality of life.

Can I bring my own headphones and music to listen to?

Absolutely. Some people like to use headphones to help with sensory overload management and they are welcome to listen to a playlist of their own or one of ours.

Do I need to bring anything?

Bring your identification, insurance card and a change of clothes if you have concern about residual massage oil getting on your clothes.

Where should I park?

Parking is available at the back of the studio.

We are in the midst of the Valley Line West LRT construction.  We do our best to update your appointment reminder with current detour directions, so keep an eye out for that.

There is a map feature available here on the contact page.

Once you have arrived follow the sidewalk along the west side of the home to the front door! We look forward to welcoming you there for your appointment.
